Chasing nuisance woodpeckers away can be done if you are able to place some Bird Tape or a Jumping Spider where they're active. Sometimes this is tough but both deterrents do a good job of repelling them. If they're on the side of the house, use the Jumping Spider and anchor it to the soffit or roof overhang.
